AREVA T&D is currently seeking an EHS Manager. The EHS Manager is responsible for providing a focus on the daily management of operations to support the overall production of instument transformers. The responsibility of this position is to Implement and maintain company health and safety policies while adhering to local, state and federal regulations.
The primary role of the EHS Manager will include:
Responsible for preparing, maintaining and updating the environmental policy and procedure and health and safety manuals.
Evaluates design and development of work areas in order to make environmental health and safety recommendations accordingly.
Ensures compliance with all environmental health and safety regulations.
Monitors and communicates any and are changes to laws and regulations that impacts the organization.
Responsible for the implementation and maintenance of the emergency preparedness response plan.
Implement pollution and prevention plan.
Develops and administers training consistent with OSHA regulations.
Performs other duties as necessary or assigned.

All candidates must meet the following minimum requirements in order to be considered for this opportunity. Candidates who exceed minimum qualifications may be considered for a higher level position.
Minimum Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from an accredited university, and 2 years experience in the field of Environmental Health and Safety or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Six Sigma Green Belt certification
