From a SafetyXChange Member
SafetyXChange member and contributor, Edward Stewart, is working on his dissertation and is asking for your help.
I am finalizing my dissertation proposal to submit to the University of Phoenix to continue with my survey questionnaire. One problem I have is that I wrote the survey because there is not a validated survey available that addresses my study’s direction.
I would like the assistance from other safety professionals to review the 25 question survey for validity and issues that would make the questions valid. Would you know of a few professionals that would be interested in assisting?
The survey consists of 25 questions. The first 10 relate to sheltering-in-place. The remainder relate to the Life Orientation Test - Revised (measuring dispositional optimism and pessimism). The remaining are demographics questions.
I would appreciate assistance with reviewing the 10 shelter-in-place questions for validity, confusion, missing information, and/or what can be changed to address the intent of the survey.
An email reply is sufficient to become involved with this Pilot Study.
Thanks
Ed
