Thanks to Daryl for sending in this tip – and job lead – in response to Bob’s request for job-hunting tips earlier this week.
I have been between jobs three times so far in my life and now I am one of the people that hires other people at my job. I believe one of the things that has helped me in getting jobs and what I look for myself is: the resume is tailored to the job that is listed, it is no more than 2 pages long, and the truth is not stretched or it will be found out after a few telephone calls. In the job interview, be yourself, dress to impress, look them in the eye, do not lie, tell the truth even if it may hurt, and don’t be nervous.
By the way, we are looking for an industrial hygienist to hire!
My address is 2501 Oakington Street, Kirk U. S. Army Health Clinic, Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland 21005-5131 and my E-mail is daryl.kauffman@us.army.mil.

With employers receiving hundreds of resumes you must make sure that your resume hooks an employer's attention within a 5-second glance. A great way to do this is to use job titles and skill headings that relate to and match the jobs you want.
