Job Interview Faux-Pas to Avoid
Picture this. You're having a conversation with a potential business colleague when your cell phone rings. With a wistful look, you apologize and pick up the call. A pause and then you ask the gentleman: "This is a personal call that I just have to take. Could I trouble you to step out for just a moment?"
Bad manners but probably not the most egregious social offense ever committed—that is, until you consider that the conversation you were having before the phone rang was a job interview and it was taking place in the office of the gentleman you've just asked to step out.
Asking an interviewer to leave his own office is not the best way to land a job. But this is a true story. And here's a list of some other interview bad ideas that interviewers say they've seen job candidates do. Candidate:
-
Wore a business suit with flip flops;
-
Told the interviewer he was bad at managing money—while interviewing for an accountant’s position;
-
Took out a hair brush and brushed her hair;
-
Asked the interviewer for a ride home afterward;
-
Smelled his armpits on the way to the interview room;
-
Told the interviewer that he was fired from his last job for beating up his boss;
-
Told the interview she didn’t like working with other people while interviewing for a customer relations position;
-
Used Dungeons and Dragons as an example of his experience being a team player; and
-
Flushed the toilet while doing a phone interview.
What’s the craziest thing you’ve ever done or seen anyone do in a job interview?

A VietNam era Marine answered the question "What did you do in your last position?" with the answer "Killed people and blew stuff up" during an interview with the L.A. County Sheriff's Dept.
I would like to know that, when the candidate asked,
" What is your weakness ? "
What answer the recruiter looking for, and how to answer this with out facing the loss.
