Which College Degrees Are Worth the Most Money?
Mama, don’t let your babies grow up to be cowboys. Or English majors. If you’re sending your kids to college, tell them to take a lot of math and engineering courses.
CNNMoney.com just published a survey from a group called the National Association of Colleges and Employers that tracks how much money companies offered to new college graduates. They then compiled a list of what degrees, i.e., majors, pulled the biggest offers. Shockingly, philosophy, Russian literature and art history didn’t crack the Top 15. 11 of the 15 degrees that did included the suffix “Engineering.” Here are the Top 15 earning degrees:
