Code Red Safety is seeking qualified Safety Supervisors for 2 separate projects in California. Candidates must have at least 5 yrs experience in commercial construction safety, 30-hr OSHA class or equivalent in last 5 years with an understanding of EM 385 Army Corps requirements.

OSHA 500, MSHA, and Certified Safety Professional certification and experience considered a strong plus. Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Safety, Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) or Industrial Hygiene is also a strong positive but not required. Knowledge of Microsoft Office also strongly recommended.

Job Description: Candidate must have knowledge of safety and health procedures, CPR/first aid methods, and familiarity with OSHA Construction Safety Standards. Candidate must have a good analytical, human relations, communication, and training skills. Responsibilities include promoting a safe and healthy work environment for employees, subcontractors, and vendors. As the Site Safety Supervisor, you will be responsible for evaluating and enforcing site safety procedures and ensure compliance with applicable state and federal laws, as well as company policies and procedures.
