LISD Sensor QHSE Manager

Due to unprecedented growth, we are seeking qualified candidates for a LISD/Sensor QHSE Manager position to support, establish and maintain industry leading safety and incident prevention programs. The position is located in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. 

As the LISD/Sensor QHSE Manager, you will:

  • Work to ensure QHSE are an integral part of line management’s responsibilities and objectives; coach managers, supervisors and employees to develop and continually improve procedures and processes
  • Plan, develop and implement facility-wide safety and incident prevention programs while serving as the safety resource for all locations
  • Ensure compliance with all Federal and Provincial regulations; ensure all safety related reports and records are correct and up to date
  • Ensure all current and newly hired employees are trained and/or refreshed and in compliance with all safety and environmental standards, policies and procedures
  • Serve as the liaison for all contractor QHSE issues

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 8-10 years direct experience as a safety manager/supervisor within the manufacturing or seismic industry; CRSP designation a plus
  • Experience supporting, developing and implementing safety and incident prevention programs
  • Experience and working knowledge of country, federal and state safety legislation
  • Strong interpersonal skills along with good oral and written communication skills
  • Strong leadership and self-motivation skills; ability to interact with all levels of management and employees
