Life Safety & Fire Safety Specialist

Purpose:
Coordinate inspections and correct deficiencies of the Fire Alarm and Fire Suppression systems and Fire Safety equipment in accordance with departmental, hospital, and regulatory agency codes. Provide technical service for the Fire Alarm and Fire Suppression systems and Fire Safety equipment including technical support during the installation and commissioning of new or expanded systems. Coordinate the inspections for the Fire Alarm and Fire Suppression systems. Serve customers in a courteous and professional manner.

Knowledge and Skills:
Three years experience as an engineering services technician, with a minimum of two years experience as a Fire Alarm Technicians, performing installation and repair duties of a fire alarm system.

Education and Experience:
High school diploma/GED and NICET Certification Requirements. (National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technology) Level II preferred.
