Responsibilities

 

As the CoSyn Health Safety and Environmental Administrator you will provide timely and effective administrative support to the HSE Manager in the development and implementation of HSE programs for the staff of CoSyn.

 

This will include providing administrative support on HSE orientations and presentations including booking and arranging venues, coordinating, preparing materials, handouts and assisting with organizing and maintaining office emergency evacuation teams. You will also record and maintain HSE training database records on the various training programs provided. As a member of the HSE committee you will attend monthly meetings, prepare agendas and record minutes. Other duties will include working with the HSE Manager in the coordination, completion of assessments and formal reporting of office workstation assessments, provide support to the HSE Manager for any and all incident reports/investigations and reporting to be completed and submitted to stakeholders.

 

Qualifications

 

You will have a strong commitment to workplace health, safety and the environment. Related post secondary Certificate or Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety accompanied with 2 years related experience in supporting HSE functions in an organization. Some of your other skills will include competency in the operation of key office software and productivity tools such as MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint, attention to detail and the ability to develop and maintain strong customer relationships. Experience in technical writing and presentation skills is considered an asset.
