Facility Safety & Security Officer

Description:
ServiceLink has an immediate opening for a Facility Safety & Security Office. The Candidate develops and administers security programs required in our area of business. These include personnel security, access control security, and physical facility security. Also responsible to develop and administer programs pertaining to Health and Safety and Fire Safety throughout our facilities where applicable.
Duties:
- Develop and implement security procedures and policies as needed corporate wide
- Manage all card access and employee badging systems, maintain facility key system, door locks and combination locks
- Manage day-to-day operation of Closed Areas or other restricted access areas
- Develop criteria for periodic system audits, perform those audits on a regular basis, investigate any abnormalities and investigate any security violations
- Prepare and review any monthly or quarterly reports by any of our internal clients
- Act as Facilities Liaison as related to Security with various business units to ensure their specific needs for security are being met
- Develop and implement appropriate procedures in relation to employee health and safety
- Work with Landlords on Fire Safety and Evacuation plans in our various facilities
- This position requires flexible work hour availability: Conditions include occasional night or weekend responsibilities
- This position requires being on call for emergencies
- This position may require travel
- All other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3-5 years Industry Security experience
- Knowledge of Hippa, SOX, GLBA and SAS 70
- Experience with CCTV alarm systems, and access control systems
- Must have strong interpersonal communication skills
- Collaborative team player with the ability to build consensus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Able to perform in a fast paced environment
- Ability to be self-directed and motivated
