We are seeking an experienced Environmental, Health & Safety Coordinator to join our team at the Suncor Energy Oil Sands site in Fort McMurray.

Reporting to the EHS Manager, you will be responsible for providing EHS support to Line Management teams, while working closely with their respective EHS Manager.​ This collaboration will achieve a safe working environment and meet statutory and contractual requirements.

As the successful candidate you will possess:

• A minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role with comprehensive knowledge of safety best practice and relevant safety qualifications
• A proven track record in the promotion of organizational culture where incidents, hazards and opportunities for improvement are reported, discussed and addressed quickly and efficiently.
• Exceptional communication and strong interpersonal skills accompanied by problem solving skills.
• Ability to liaise on all levels with internal and external clients and work in a team environment is considered essential.
• Experience will have seen you work in a maintenance environment or similar within the heavy engineering industry.
