Honeywell Process Solutions (HPS) offers a full range of automation and control solutions to key vertical markets, including Energy, Pulp and Paper, and Chemicals/Pharmaceuticals, and develops/markets industrial automation systems and advanced software applications. Duties will include front-end engineering studies, design documents and drawings, field surveys, application design and implementation and project-related documentation. Other duties will include consulting on a variety of applications, sales and proposal support and customer demonstrations.

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or computer science with 8+ years direct experience
3 to 5 years safety project engineering experience in an industrial environment
CFSE and TUV Functional Safety Engineer preferred

Knowledge and Experience Required
The ideal candidate will possess:
Proven experience participating in safety system studies (PHA, HAZOP, SIL analysis), and leading implementation with participation in all phases in the implementation of a safety system (design, safety application development, start-up and commissioning)
Proven experience with at least one of the leading suppliers of safety systems (FSC, Safety Manager, Triconex, HIMA, Quadlog)
Knowledge of applicable codes (IEC, NFPA, ISA, etc.)
Experience in process reliability preferred
