DetailsA professional position, high-level administrative, managerial and supervisory work, providing direction, guidance and oversight of the city’s comprehensive safety and health program which includes implementation of general industry and construction safety standards and policies, and also the alcohol and drug test program; criminal and driver history assessment function; workplace violence mitigation; and the employee training related to these areas. The incumbent of this position functions as a strategic partner on the Human Resources Management Team and ensures that safety and health programs complement the organization’s mission, vision and objectives. This position is located in the City’s Human Resources Division reporting to the Human Resources Manager.
