Safety may be perceived as a thankless job, but without your work, more people would be injured or killed on the job. So SafetyXChange wants to recognize and reward the dedicated members of the safety profession through the 2009 Saxcies™ Awards.

Training methods, safety programs, individual devotion to safety, corporate leadership – there’s a category for all the great work you’re doing. Glenn and I encourage you to enter and be recognized by your peers.

Many past Saxcies™ recipients have gone on to win other awards, but receiving the Saxcie™ helmet often remains their fondest memory.

“This was an awesome honor for Parkway and I was so honored to have been given the opportunity to accept the award on behalf of my fellow co-workers,” said Teresa Mackey of Parkway Products, Inc., recipient of the 2007 Saxcie™ for Safety Program of the Year. “I went directly from the airport to the plant and made the presentation to them … Words can’t convey the expression on their faces when I displayed the helmet. They were blown away! They so deserved this award and we thank you again for this great honor.”
