Having just been the victim of a robbery on the July 1st weekend, I can only endorse the tips given. Aside from the monetary value of the jewellery taken, the sentimental value can never be reimbursed. After the fact I did a little online research and found a brilliant and simple home security warning. Put out a LARGE dog waterdish, keeping it filled with clean water and spread some large-dog toys around the yard to give the impression of a LARGE dog being on the premises. Apparently one can even play rcordings of a dog barking. FYI We have since had a security system installed; however, the feeling I have walking into my house now is one of insecurity. Someone uninvited had trespassed. That can never be undone!
