All of us need to calm down now and again. Relaxation is one antidote for the physiological and psychological effects of stress. Here are 8 proven ways to relax:

  1. Stare into a fish tank.
  2. Take a walk.
  3. Call a friend and talk.
  4. Watch clouds float by.
  5. Take a short nap.
  6. Listen to soothing music.
  7. Play with your dog, cat, etc.
  8. Get a massage.
