• 37 The number of states where dangerous chemicals covered by REACH are produced or imported (not including Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands)
• 85 or more The number of chemicals and substances that are produced and imported annually in amounts of a million or more pounds annually
• 2 Of the above, the only substances that have been subject to regulation in the U.S. (asbestos and hexavalent chromium).
